Spirit Animal Coffee is a new coffee brand that I came across who tests their organic coffee beans for mold. All of their coffee is sourced from different high altitude coffee farms in Honduras. What also makes them different is that the coffee beans are roasted fresh in Honduras to order and shipped by air cargo to their destination.

You will find the certificate of analysis for mycotoxins that they test for each new harvest on all coffee product pages. Spirit Animal Coffee also test for pesticide levels making them also a good non-toxic coffee brand to choose.

Spirit Animal are also the only brand reviewed who are specialty coffee certified, meaning they’re graded 80 or above up to score of 100 by a licensed Q Grader. You will also see on each organic mold free coffee bean product page their speciality coffee score.

Natural Force Clean Coffee is the only US coffee brand I found that publicly shares the lab result of their mycotoxin tested coffee.

Natural Force are one of the only USA mold free coffee brand suppliers reviewed that has a public link to their mycotoxin lab test certificate. Natural Force source their beans from Purity Coffee, but do additional testing.

There is no ground coffee or blend option, so you are limited for different taste options. They do also say the roasting process is carefully done to minimize acrylamide formation.

The brand has the most coffee variety options available to buy.

You can get different roast profiles and package sizing.

The company uses the Bulletproof Process to assure quality control from farm to cup. Unfortunately there is no public mycotoxin lab test certificate publicly available to view.

NoordCode Pure Coffee is a European brand based in The Netherlands. The brand is a good mold tested coffee brand option for people looking for quick shipping to any EU country.

NoordCode say that both their light and medium roast coffee beans have been tested for aflatoxins and moulds, but there is no direct link to view the lab testing certificate from the website.

What makes this brand unique is that the coffee uses Ethiopia style fermentation and is also sealed in a tin vs a bag.

NoordCode Pure Coffee had their coffee tested for mold and bacteria as part of a research project for the Dutch University of Wageningen.

Byron Bay Coffee Company is an Australian brand that sells a wide variety of coffee, but it is only the Organic Espresso option that they sell that looks to be tested for mycotoxins.

They state on their website that they test for mycotoxins and moulds, but we couldn’t find a direct link to the lab results to verify.

This looks to be a good option to try if you live in Australia and are looking for a mould free coffee option local to you.
